International agricultural Collaboration

Protect Important Crops and Strengthen Export Opportunities

Kannar partners with national, state and regional institutions to develop and evaluate nature-friendly agricultural technologies for locally important crop challenges.

Together, we aim to improve crop protection, support export-market requirements and increase returns for growers.

Is This a Fit for Your Country or Region

Your growers depend on a crop that supports livelihoods, food security or export earnings.
Insects, nematodes, fungal pathogens or other pressures are limiting crop performance.
Your sector seeks to meet pesticide maximum residue limits (MRLs) and buyer requirements in markets such as the European Union and United States.
Your institution can coordinate research, fund local trials and help successful technologies reach growers.

Kannar delivers economical, practical, and innovative crop protection products that prioritize environmental stewardship.

Your priorities and our science

Every Collaboration begins with a specific crop, a clearly identified challenge and agreed measures of success.

Drawing on our patented technologies, formulation expertise and biological research, Kannar evaluates existing solutions and develops or adapts formulations for local conditions.

Our work may include formulation and stability testing, microbial screening and greenhouse evaluation. Promising candidates advance to locally managed field trials, with results guiding each next step.

How the collaboraiton works

1

Agree on the crop, target pest or pathogen, local conditions, export objectives and project leads.

2

Kannar conducts the agreed formulation, laboratory and greenhouse work to select promising candidates.

3

The local partner funds and manages approved trials, with Kannar supplying agreed evaluation materials and technical support.

4

Successful results support larger evaluations across relevant locations and growing conditions.

5

Partners coordinate the applicable registration pathway and agree on supply, distribution, grower support and commercialization.

Kannar delivers economical, practical, and innovative crop protection products that prioritize environmental stewardship.

Each stage proceeds against agreed technical, regulatory and commercial milestones.

Shared commitment and clear responsibilities

  • Kannar funds the initial formulation, laboratory and greenhouse work agreed for each Collaboration and contributes evaluation samples and technical support.
  • The local partner funds and conducts local trials, coordinates required permissions and provides local expertise, sites, personnel and agreed trial data. Partners also support registration and a practical route to commercial adoption.

Together, we may pursue grants, development funding or other external support to extend the program and accelerate promising work. We welcome partners able to coordinate with the competent authorities and identify applicable pathways for research authorization, product registration and lawful accelerated review where available.

What success looks like

We agree on measurable outcomes before trials begin. Depending on the project, these may include:

International Collaboration in action

Kannar and the Guyana Rice Development Board have signed an agreement to collaborate on rice technology evaluation. Evaluation samples are scheduled to ship from Kannar in December 2026.

The collaboration brings together Kannar’s technology development capabilities and Guyana’s local rice expertise to evaluate solutions for an economically important crop.

Who we collaborate with

We welcome ministries, crop boards, public research institutions, state and regional authorities, and qualified grower or exporter groups.
The strongest collaboration bring together scientific expertise, local trial capacity, government coordination and a practical route to commercial adoption.

Bringing successful technologies to growers

Commercial arrangements are developed with qualified local partners and may include product supply, distribution or licensing.
Responsibilities, pricing and commercial terms are agreed in writing to support reliable delivery and long-term grower adoption.
