Grant In Aid (GIA) Policy

Kannar Earth Science, Ltd. enthusiastically collaborates with other agricultural professionals to discover, patent, and license (in or out) crop input establishment and crop health technologies. We offer our expertise to third party companies, contract researchers, and university and related extension researchers.

Partners of Kannar can expect the following:

  1. Standard non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and material transfers agreements (MTA) in early-stage relationships to rapidly achieve proof of concept, develop a business case, and outline go-to-market assumptions.
  2. Project and optimal market strategies developed with third party agriculture industry leaders to maximize commercial launch and ramp-up of both production and market penetration.
  3. Clear timelines and contracts.

Our policy for funding any external development trial work requires project objectives, experimental goals, and a plan of work. University research Grant In Aid payments (GIA) that include indirect overhead are within Kannar’s scope, but indirect overhead will not exceed 25% of the total GIA.
