Drought is one of the hardest weather woes to manage. Koasis is here to help. Koasis™ is a soil additive innovation that contains super-absorbent polymers (SAPs) that help soil retain moisture. Applied in-furrow or deep into the ground during strip tilling, Koasis is a valuable crop establishment tool, especially in limited irrigation and non-irrigated crops.

Koasis™ reduces the leaching of fertilizers, nutrients, crop protection chemicals, biostimulants, etc. Rather than nutrients being washed out of the rhizosphere, these soil-applied crop inputs are retained and more readily available for uptake. It also helps with the flow of soil amendments and fertilizers to improve the uniformity of application.

What makes Koasis so unique?

Koasis is entirely natural. Plant-based, it eventually breaks down in soil to become food for plants and soil microbes. This also means it’s micro-plastic free: something we’re very proud of and something our industry increasingly values.

Unlike most moisture retention polymers that only remain functional in very dry air, Koasis™ can be applied with precision even in high humidity across large-scale acreage at low or high rates.
